Chris took the large step of going self-employed in the middle of a recession (we were not sure whether he was insane or very brave!). He had good references with north Devon builders and seemed to have the experience. I was not sure as he didn’t have enough time self-employed for me but convinced by the wife we gave him the job. As ever she was right! What a fantastic job Chris made of our extension and unlike other builders we had come across actually spent most of the time working and not sitting in the van reading the newspaper!
The job was completed on time, within budget and the building inspector was very happy. What more could we ask for, thanks.
